Yes! Every match has an in-house referee provided by Rafa League. Our refs keep the game clean, safe, and flowing: making calls, managing pace, and ensuring fair play so you can focus on the competition. They're there to let the game happen the way it should. Please note that our referees are not registered with Ontario Soccer, as we are not a sanctioned league.
Games are 50 minutes with no breaks. Regular season games have no overtime. The goal is to keep the energy high and the games moving. Players are expected to arrive 10 minutes before their scheduled game time to warm up and be ready to play.
All skill levels are welcome! Rafa League focuses on providing a fun, competitive, and inclusive environment for players of all abilities.
Games may be played at various fields/facilities in the Kitchener-Waterloo Region. Season schedules with location details will be posted and communicated to players before the start of each season.
The recommended roster size is provided within the division details on our register page. We recommend enough players to allow for a healthy balance between adequate player game time, and enough subs for high-intensity matches.
